Adar Gandelsman
Adar Gandelsman (Hebrew Adr gndlsmn) is an Israeli beauty pageant titleholder and model. She was Miss Israel's 2017's first place runner-up . She also took home the title of Miss Universe Israel 2017. Adar participated in the Miss Universe 2017 Pageant in Las Vegas but didn't place. At the pageant, Gandelsman took a picture with Sarah Idan, Miss Universe Iraq in the year. Idan and her entire family left Iraq in December of 2017 after they were outraged by Iraqi citizens over her photo with Miss Israel. Miss Israel is originally from Ashkelon in Israel and was born to Ashkenazi Jewish parents, who immigrated to Israel in 1992 from Brazil.
