Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress and comedian, as well as activist) is a comedian. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents Her career began as a child actor just after emigrating to United States. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 until 2016 - and now from 2020 on - made her famous. She was a regular host on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Additionally, she was a regular series on Yahoo! After being featured in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors, Vayntrub also plays Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was Jewish and was born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and her left antisemitism at just two years old. They immigrated to the U.S. with their children. Because of her family's financial problems the actress began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly studied at Beverly Hills High School. Following her sophomore year, she quit and obtained a GED. She went on however to earn an undergraduate degree in Arts Communication from University of California San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
